Yesterday August 18, 2009, 11 youths were imprisoned by the Municipal Police of Valencia, due to be doing graffiti in the city. On the Move With Science does not endorse the graffiti as an ideal means of protest, nor do we hold harmless those who have, but we are outraged and deeply concerned to note as it is applied unevenly state power over its citizens, and as "justice" applies blatantly convenience of those who wield power.
We are surprised to see as many acts of violence, public and notorious, that has happened in our city, including various sad and actions carried out by "authorities" of the municipality against journalists and media communication, it is precisely this group of students who have applied the "law", while the other points and many more serious cases, where there have been shootings to injury and remain in complete impunity, while the police, prosecutor public and other institutions, become silent accomplices of irrationality, violence and crime that rules our time.
These 11 young people, who have been given a conditional injunction filing regimen every 60 days, even defamed them by saying they were drunk, under influence of narcotics and also that they had resisted arrest. We knew from the mouth of the players the falsity of these allegations, we are extremely shocked to see how he lies and manipulates reality to justify unjust actions of the state. We

We also believe that where there is oppression, civil rights are trampled upon and seek to impose unjust laws, the real offense is no offense. We as the teaching of history and an example for the future, the courageous actions of Thoreau, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, among many others, whose life and actions "illegal" raised the consciousness of humanity.
